To promote the third Transformers movie "Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon," Chef Buddy Valastro created this
amazing 2,000 pound cake in the shape of Bumblebee, a character from the film. For those unfamiliar with Bumblebee and the Transformers series as a whole, Bumblebee is an Autobot that has taken the likeliness of a Chevrolet Camaro. Valastro, the star of TLC reality television series “Cake Boss,” reveals that this cake was his biggest challenge to date.
Valastro and his team from Carlo's Bake Shop, in Hoboken, New Jersey, worked on it for four days, including an all-nighter, and had to decorate their sweet creation in a warehouse, because their 10,000 square-foot bakery simply wasn’t big enough. "This is the hardest cake I've ever done, but it's probably the one I'm most proud of," the Cake Boss said about his
delicious masterpiece.
